Don Chaffer is one of the most underrated artists of all time - not just because of his superb songwriting, but because he has the uncanny ability to be uncomfortably challenging and inspiring in his songwriting at the same time.
The new Waterdeep record is dark and haunting, but addictive in it's melody and shape. It flows together almost seamlessly.
The Khrusty Brothers, Don's attempt to try new electronic sounds, features the most guttural commentary on modern spirituality that Don has manifested since "18 Bullet Holes" in the song "Sympathy For Jesus."
