SO I AM NOT CRAZY...
So for years now, I occasionally have found myself in conversations with people in my general age category about childhood TV shows. It always ends with me insisting that I used to watch some show with a guy in a leotard that was painted like the inside of the human body. People argue with me and try to say that this was "Inside Out Boy," but I never watched Nickelodean. I know that wasn't it. BUT WHAT WAS IT??
Today, I randomly ran across this hilarious website featuring awful album covers, which randomly mentioned Slim Goodbody!! I Wikipedia-ed it just to make sure - and YES - this is what I have been talking about for all these years! I am NOT crazy!
The crazy thing is 1) according to the never-wrong Wiki, this show was REALLY popular for awhile, which makes it hard for me to believe that no one else remembers it - and 2) this guy is still around! He actually tours the country putting on programs (and presumably, his leotard.)
Now if I could only get more people to remember the 80's version of The Letter People or the Canadian show (which I have no idea why I was watching because I lived no where near Canada...) The Polka Dot Door...

that does sound familiar, come to think of it.
now, can you find out for me what the show was where the dad was an alien and he had to travel across the country to get his son back and he proved to his son that he was really his dad by showing him the little silver ball bearings that he could make spin with his mind?
that's the show I remember, but have no idea what it was. it was on about hte same time as manimal and airworld and Alien Nation.
speaking of canadian TV, did you ever watch a canadian tv show about teenagers and how to spend your money? that was an awesome show.
well i never had that conversation with you or would have agreed with you. i didn't remember his name though, "slim goodbody". i actually saw a rerun of this on a PBS subchannel a month or so ago.
